Corioliss hair straightener?!?!?

i was wondering if any of you have bought one of these straighteners and like it.is it good for all types of hair?? i was thinking about buying but im not sure if its good for my hair type.please tell me what ypu think about them..thanksCorioliss hair straightener?!?!?

i have a chi but my sister has one and she has thick hair that's hard to get perfectly straight and the Straightener works amazing on her hair and our moms curly hair. and my aunt owns a hair salon and she trusts corioliss way better than other Straightener because they last longer.

I just bought one today. The lady at the stand used it on one side of my head. And it's like 8 hours later and my hair is still straight and shiny. I have wavy hair, and it worked really good on it. My mom has thinning hair, and she used it to curl her hair and it made it have a lot more volume. I got the red leopard print one. It comes with a lifetime guarantee, or mine did at least.

I use the black one. I have never used a Chi so I cant say weither it is better but I like it. It doesnt make my hair frizzy and it stays straighter for longer. I bought mine when they were on sale for 60 bucks. I use it on the highest setting and it works really good. I would say its right under the Chi.





If you can though, I would buy a Chi :] Its my dream straightener but I cant afford that right now! haha





Oh, if you can .. you know the serum that you can buy with the Corioliss? BUY IT! LOL It works wonders to keep your hair frizz free during huminity and straighter longer.

My Corioliss hair straightener won't work?

I didn't use my straightener for a little over a week. My mom used it a few days ago and said it worked fine, but when i plugged it in this morning it wouldn't work. The little light that says its on wasn't going off and it wouldn't heat up. I tried multiple sockets in the house and it just won't work. No...but I use my CHI straightener often. It works very well and usually keeps my hair straight for most of the day. To maximize your 'straight time span' go for a straightening spray that works with straighteners.Has anyone ever used a corioliss hair straightener? Was it any good ?
Yes--I have had mine for about 6 months and I love it because it gets very hot! If you are thinking about buying it from a Kiosk in a mall you need to talk them way down! I pretended to not be interested and started to walk off and got it for less that half price!

Corioliss Hair Straightener Light?

I recently bought a purple corioliss hair straightener. When i turn it on, the little red light comes on. I'm guessing that means its warming up. But after a few seconds it turns off. Then, a few seconds later it comes back on. Its kind of like slow blinking. Does this mean it has a short in it? Or is it supposed to blink like this?Corioliss Hair Straightener Light?

Why is my hair damaged by using Corioliss Hair Straightener?

I have been using Corioliss for a year now. Its been 2 months that my hair is damaged. The Corioliss flat iron is not straightening the hair like at the beginning. Smooth and silky. The type I bought at the mall is for dry hair. Also I want to mention that I do dye my hair every 3 weeks roughly. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is much appreciated. if you use the straightener everyday it will damage your hair because the heat is drying your hair out. now for the dying your hair. if you use a permanent dye like herbal essences, which has ammonia in it, that damages your hair too. herbal essence has a shampoo and conditioner line, along with styling products, that you can use to straighten your hair. theres also a product call Sun Silk that you can get. i suggest using some sort of hair mask, i think Nuetrogena has one, once a week. or a hot oil treatment once a week. also, get you hair trimmed about every 6-8 weeks. cut back on the hair dying, straightening, or even both for a while and your hair should be ok. now if you think you have to dye your hair you Natural instincts. its not permanent but it wont damage your hair either. if your roots start to show then use a product like root touch up by nice and easy. i hope this helps Why is my hair damaged by using Corioliss Hair Straightener?

It's awsome as far as I've had it but damage wise, I Dunno exactly but I use it once a week full on my hair and in about .... 7-8months i got damaged on the bottom tips of my hair only so i trimmed.


It's good and easy to use and you can curl your hari with it although its tricky.

Can the PX1 Pro Varialble Corioliss hair straightener be used on wet hair?

PX1 is a great technology, but the Wet %26amp; Dry one will be much better to be used on wet hair.

All flat irons do damage to your hair, the best thing to do is to not use them every single day. And when you do, use good thermal protection on your hair (I like to use Straight followed by Smooth Down Heat Glide both by Redken).

Personally I have used several over the years...CHI, Paul Mitchell, FHI...My favorite is the one I am currently using. It is the Paul Brown Hawaii. Ive been using it for over 2 years and it still works beautiful. My friend uses the Sedu on all her clients %26amp; she likes that brand. I guess it just depends on personl preference. How can I get a replacement Corioliss hair straightener that quit working?

I purchased this straightener as a christmas present for my daughter and two weeks after christmas it quit working. I've contacted Corioliss three times now and cannot get a response. These straighteners are NOT cheap and I'm aggravated that the different malls that let this company sell their items at the kiosks also let them leave without getting any information in case consumers have a problem. You can usually find Corioliss straighteners at one of those mall kiosk. my friend bought one from there but now she hates it. She tells me it sucks and it pulls out her hair so now she bought a Sedu after using mine.


I think you should get a Sedu or Ozon because those have titanium, ceramic, and tourmaline plates which will make your hair shiny, soft and very nice. The corioliss is ceramic alone and doesn't come with a 2 year warranty. If you order from folica.com, they also give you a free mini styler free and an iron holder. The Sedu is a little more expensive than the Ozon but you get more stuff.. I recommend the $108 1'; Sedu. the Ozon is $90 with shipping.





Always use a heat protection spray before you flat iron to prevent damage to your hair. :)
